Personal tutoring in the San Diego area
Tutoring can be provided in your home, at a convenient location like a library or restaurant, or at the home of one of our tutors. Group sessions are encouraged and are quite good for SAT or ELM preparation. The cost is $50 per hour if we come to you (see discount plans below).
On line tutoring by appointment via the World Wide Web
The rate for this is $30 per hour.
"Drop in tutoring" via the Web is also available in selected subjects
Several of our tutors make themselves available in the on line classroom to their regular students for last minute help at no additional cost. Ask your tutor if he or she will help out like this as needed.
On line tutoring is provided in a virtual classroom via the World Wide Web. The classroom includes chat capability and a whiteboard for working problems.
You can visit the McTutor classroom as a guest; follow the easy log in directions, and check out the capabilities in person.
Discounts Available
Pre-payment for 10 hours of tutoring for $450: Advance payment for 10 hours or more of tutoring results in an additional 9% off each rate. So your net cost will be $45 per hour.
Military: Above discount applies with no pre-payment required.
