Bill holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Business and Public Administration from Southeastern University in Washington, DC, and a BS in Mathematics and a Secondary Teaching Certificate from the University of Akron.   He is an adjunct professor in mathematics for several community colleges in the San Diego area, and has extensive experience teaching C computer programming.
