Veronica is a certified Community College Instructor in the State of California, and holds a Master of Public Administration degree from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from University of California, Berkeley.
She is an experienced elementary school teacher, including experience in immersion Spanish, and has been active in several binational border initiatives in San Diego. She is an experienced writer, editor, and researcher, and is fluent in Spanish.
Veronica currently works as a Coordinator for the San Diego-Tijuana Border Initiative Drug Free Coalition and as a Teaching Assistant at San Diego State University's School of Public Administration.
