Joseph  holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from LaSalle University, Philadelphia, PA, a Master of Science degree and a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI.  He has done postdoctoral research as a Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley.  He has had a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, and tutors extensively at the college level and below.
